Soaking up the vitamin Sea

It’s a beautiful morning, mid June yet it’s a far cry from the June of 2023. It feels more like April and the gentle breeze from the north is not helping.


My swim buddy and I are preparing for our first dip in a while. I have certainly had a considerable hiatus blaming everything and anything for not getting it. Menopause is my favourite excuse at the moment but that’s another story. A little neoprene will

help me enter the water, some shoes, gloves and a shortie wetsuit.


Today we ventured into the sea, the tingle of the cold rapidly progressed to a sting and then it was just simply painful. Pushing on screaming and giggling, age a thing of the past, pain our present and buoyant sun-kissed bliss our future.


We love it! We loved it, we will be back and soon. The sea temperature is rising fast as summer approaches and morning swims are the perfect start to the day 💚🌊💚🌊
