Protecting Sea life & keeping Seaham tidy
We began as a group of swimmers cleaning up after a storm. It grew into a group of volunteers with a passion for keeping Seaham clean in tidy. Join us, collect a little or a lot, post it on our page and feel rewarded. Arrange a litter pick, share a pre-arranged one or join an organised event.
Delivering a Plastic Free Community
Working towards obtaining the award of a Plastic Free town we are your Plastic Free community Leads. We need people to join us and support the movement. Do you want to see Seaham receive this award? The green drive is a small haven of wildlife and nature on the doorstep of Dawdon, like a forgotten land this magnificent dene has been left to go wild. Our volunteers are working to return the local people to the dene with funding from Seascapes, Northumbrian Water and Durham Wild Life Trust.
